Specialized geriatric clinic
The objective of the specialized geriatric clinic is to assess problems which are specific to seniors such as loss of autonomy, falls, complex medical problems, and so on. Following the assessment, the geriatrician refers or directs the person to the appropriate resource.
Persons aged 65 and older and adults (18 and older) living in Estrie who suffer from an age-related problem may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network.
Memory clinic
All adults aged 18 and older living in Estrie who suffer from cognitive problems may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for an assessment. An interdisciplinary team composed of a geriatrician, a nurse, a neuropsychologist, a orthophonist, an occupational therapist and a social work will assess the condition of the adult. Once the evaluation has been completed, the family physician will receive a follow-up.
Dermatology clinic
Persons aged 60 and older living in Estrie who suffer from skin problems may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for assessment.
Physical therapy clinic
Seniors who suffer from bone, muscle or articulation problems may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for assessment.
Urinary incontinence clinic
Seniors aged 60 and older living in Estrie who suffer from urinary dysfunction (prolapse of the bladder, incontinence, etc.) may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for assessment by a team composed of a physician, a nurse and a physiotherapist.
Ophthalmology clinic
Seniors suffering from vision problems may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for assessment.
Deafness-vertigo clinic
Persons aged 60 and older living in Estrie who suffer from ear problems (deafness, vertigo, dizziness, etc.) may be referred by a partner of the health and social services network for assessment.

The ambulatory geriatric clinics can only be accessed with a medical referral (your physician must complete a medical consultation with one of our specialists).
